Bagel was one of my bigger, much more
weighty creations
Designed from conversations and a drawing provided by Bob he was created
using beautiful long pile tipped mohair for most of the body with a
shorter tufted pile to his tummy and parts of his face. While he
growls most of his tummy was filled with elastomer pellets making him nice
and squidgy, there is also an extra neck joint so he can look at whatever
is going on, hand moulded eyelids, realistic eyes, leather toe and heel
pads that were individually moulded and fitted through the soles of his
feet, and a very open mouth as you can see here.
I have to admit Bagel was quite a challenge though I thoroughly
enjoyed making him, loved how he turned out and when the time came found
it quite hard to say goodbye |
