Needlefelting is the art of shaping wool with a special needle to form 3
dimensional objects.
It is easy to do, therapeutic, great fun and extremely addictive.
Whether you are completely new to needlefelting or have already tried
making a few pieces and now want to check your techniques and extend
your skills so that you can make other creations like some of the things
pictured here, then our beginners workshop are for you.
Designed as a small master class for up to seven students this means
everyone gets the full attention of our qualified teacher.
In this workshop you will be
taken through the various needlefelting techniques then once you have
mastered them yourself you will also learn how to:-
a) reinforce your pieces using armatures and other materials
b) resolve problems and rectify mistakes
c) create beautiful faces,
d) enhance your pieces to make them really special
e) adapt your new skills so you can needlefelt on other mediums like
canvass or even a mohair bears face.
This workshop provides you with all the materials you need and includes
refreshments so all you need bring is yourself.

As with all of our workshops many of our Beary Special Supplies will be
available to save you having to travel should you need anything for your
bear making or Needle felting.
