Katie was hand sculpted over a wire armature by repeatedly adding and working raw wool with felting needles until it formed the desired core shape then more wool was added in layers to build up the colours and the muscle structures before being trimmed to give Katie her final appearance.
It's a longer process process than normal needelfelted so took six days to complete
