Wire internal armature
Black Glass eyes
Nylon for whiskers
Perle cotton sewn nose
Internal Structure Hand formed armature made from 1.5mm aluminium wire; I design and make all armatures myself

Splish Splash was hand sculpted over a wire armature by repeatedly working raw wool with a felting needle until it formed the desired shapes that can be used to make up an Otter with the various colours added as applicable.  The whole process took around 4 days to complete.
